On July 18, 2025, Chesapeake Voyagers, Inc. (CVI) hosted its 16th anniversary celebration, The 16th Voyage: Celebrating Wellness, Recovery & Community, at the Easton Volunteer Fire Department. Setting sail with a nautical theme, CVI’s “Sweet Sixteen” Anniversary invited the community to commemorate Chesapeake Voyagers’ 16 years of unwavering dedication to wellness and recovery across the Mid-Shore. Guests enjoyed a fun-filled Friday evening with music and karaoke with DJ Chuckie Love, a catered buffet dinner from Olive Garden Easton, raffle prizes, and activities that celebrated CVI’s history.

Over 100 community members came out to eat, dance, sing karaoke, win raffle prizes, and celebrate Chesapeake Voyagers’ 16th anniversary. The event raised $4,000 through donations and key sponsorships from Shore United Bank, Bay Imprint, Mid Shore Behavioral Health, Inc., and Peace of Mind. One hundred twenty cupcakes were donated by The Cupcake Queen, and the venue space was donated in-kind by the Easton Volunteer Fire Department. An additional $3,000 worth of raffle prizes were donated by local businesses Olive Garden, artist Audrey Larrimore, BJ’s, Walmart, Don’s Barber Shop, Healing with Anita, Laughing Lotus, Legal Assets, Louise Bishop, Out of the Fire, Playa Bowls, and Holiday Inn Express – Kent Island. The event was organized by Eternal Optimist Goods, LLC, with all proceeds going towards CVI’s programs and services.
